Infused With Jewish Values

Yael always dreamed of interviewing fashion icon Joyce Azria on her award-winning Jewish Money Matters Podcast.  “Even before starting my podcast, Joyce was at the top of my list of women who I admire for her ability to seamlessly merge savvy business acumen and uncompromising Jewish values.”

In Episode 334, after more than 6 years, Yael’s dream finally came true.  Joyce’s busy schedule opened up, and Yael got an interview with the legendary Joyce Azria.

“I feel a tremendous debt of gratitude towards your father,” Yael told Joyce during the emotional exchange. With tears, Yael recounts the generosity that Joyce’s father Max Azria showed to the Shanghai Jewish Center (SJC), a Chabad center run by Rabbi Shalom and Dina Greenberg, and once home to Yael and her family.  “We needed to come up with the money to purchase the Jewish Center in Shanghai.  Originally, we had thought the building could be partially financed by the bank, but Chinese banking regulations closed that door to foreigners.” As the time to purchase the building was running out, Rabbi Greenberg flew to the Ohel to pray for a miracle.

At that same moment, back in  Shanghai, president of the SJC Maurice Ohana told visiting Max Azria of the Shanghai Jewish Community’s dire need, and without asking many questions, Max Azria committed the million dollars needed to complete the purchase. “We all knew we had just witnessed a clear bracha from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. We were so impressed by Max Azria’s display of Ahavas Israel and generosity,” said Trusch.

“It was truly a  memorable interview. My audience also recognized there was something special about our dynamic together,” says Yael. Joyce and Yael both felt like they spoke the same language, as if ordained from Above.

A few weeks later, Yael sent a letter to the Ohel asking the Rebbe for a bracha for a business matter. “Immediately upon sending the letter,” Yael recounts, “I received a WhatsApp message from Joyce, ‘Have a few minutes to talk?’”

They got on the phone. Joyce had just walked out of the Ohel, and felt the urgent need to discuss an exciting business idea she had.

Azria says, “We both bring our whole hearts into mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs with the same issues, and both want to serve those individuals on a grander scale. Alone, we just don’t have the capacity to take on more. But together…”

Both Joyce and Yael run their own businesses. Joyce Azria is an serial entrepreneur in the Fashion, Accessories & Wellness space, Investor, and world renowned motivational speaker.  Yael is also an entrepreneur and sought-after-speaker, who runs a profitable podcast, and financial coaching business. “We both wanted to do more, and we each wanted a partner – the right partner,” said Yael.

Joyce and Yael marveled that the Rebbe had guided them to meet, just at the right time. And that’s how their joint venture, the MAXIMIZE Business Masterclass, was created by Divine Providence.

The doors are open now to join Joyce & Yael’s MAXIMIZE Business Masterclass, a 6 month practical, transformative and energizing experience, at yaeltrusch.com/maximize. “We want every entrepreneur to MAXIMIZE their potential, MAXIMIZE their wealth and MAXIMIZE their impact,” says the dynamic duo. An ode to MAX Azria’s legacy and a commitment to the Rebbe’s vision, they both say in unison, “This is how we can all bring Moshiach!”
